Here’s a few updates for the past month or so.
It’s Volunteer Saturday at Illume on Saturday, October 19. Renovations continue. It’s great to see the floor taking shape in the original sanctuary.
I had the opportunity to spend a few hours and see a little bit of the Northern Cascades National Park and it’s beautiful scenery.
We’ve been hosting Saturday game nights at Illume, and shared popcorn this week with the local schoolkids after they were out for the day. It’s been fun meeting people from the community.
After being asked to take on 2 more youth soccer teams, I’m now coaching 4 teams (working 6 days a week) for Seattle Celtic Soccer Club through the end of the fall season and again in spring. The winter training season will be a little bit lighter on my schedule, but also my income. It’s a blessing I can work at something I enjoy to help support my time at Illume.
