For the future coffee shop, Illume is looking for old books to be placed on bookshelves. We’re looking for old books (no glossy covers) to fill several bookcases. The older the better (without the old mold or mildew.) If you have any old books you aren’t using anymore that we could add to the coffee shop bookcases, we’d love to have give them a new home.

Plans for Illume’s church building include a coffee shop in the old sanctuary for the local community. It will be a gathering place for the neighborhood, a place to build relationships. The subfloor of the sanctuary is currently being installed.
One of the goals of our coffee shop is to help people who have never been inside a church feel comfortable in a church setting.
